Steph Style: Shop & Save
Would you believe me if I told you my entire outfit, including shoes, was under $50? Obviously, my purse was a little more but I still got a great deal on it! I have no problem admitting that I am a master at bargain shopping! #noshameinmygame
Today on the blog I'm sharing my tips and tricks to get you looking super fabulous, while also staying within your budget!
You may be asking ... Where do I start? What can I find for under $50? How in the world can I get shoes too?
You asked, I'm answering. For the record, great style isn't about labels and high prices. It's about just that, STYLE, and how you interpret it and bring it to life in your wardrobe. I'm here to help you shop and SAVE BIG!
I'd be lying if I told you that the price point for every item in my closet is under $50 (I can splurge just well as I can save), however, I love a great deal and consider myself an expert sale shopper (thanks, mom #igetitfrommymama). I rarely pay full-price for anything!
So here we go, 4 of my top tips to help you shop a little smarter.
1. Keep an open mind.
My greatest shopping trips stem from just browsing around, no agenda, stress free shopping. I've found when I am looking for a specific color or certain style, I have a harder time finding what I'm looking for! I've probably waited to the last minute for my event, and now I can't find my size in any style that I like. If you have the time, try this little trick! Go into that store you never shop in, check out the section of the department store you always avoid! Great fashion finds are waiting for you!
2. Shop the sale racks FIRST.
This is a no brainer! If you aren't shopping the sale racks, and I mean both hands working, looking for a gold mine, you have to start. Yes, it's a little more work, no everything isn't organized, but just think about all the money you'll save! I always shop the sale racks first. If I can find a top for $15 on the sale rack, I'm feeling a little less guilty about spending more on something else! I used to be embarrassed about going into a store and going straight for a sale rack, but now I'm like, who cares?
3. Coupon Codes are your friend.
Like your BEST friend ... for life.
Never, and I mean NEVER, ever, check-out online (or in store for that matter) without looking for a coupon code. Before I submit any order online, I open my browser and do a simple search for codes. For example, something as simple as "Tory Burch Coupon Code" will work. When I tell you that 8 times out of 10 I find something that saves me money, I do not tell a lie! Try it!
4. Mix & Match
It's no secret, I love Nordstrom, but I can literally shop anywhere! And you should too! I'm always looking for new shops and boutiques to shop at. What I love about mixing up my wardrobe for you guys is the ability to make everything accessible for everyone. Maybe my shoes are $100+, but my top is probably under $30. You'll always see a mixture of price points on my shop page!
Shopping smart is so essential for anyone who is like me and loves to shop! I could do it all day, everyday. There are so many other money saving steps you can take too! What are some of your favorites?
Anyone shopping this weekend? Thanks so much for stopping by the blog, can't wait for you to see what's coming up!
