Bold + Beautiful

True story: I bought these two pieces separately, from different shops, with no intention of wearing them together. And then one night as I was styling outfits for an upcoming photoshoot … I realized how incredible they would look together. Don't you just love it when that happens? Effortless style. I know this look may be a little bold for some, but I really loved the pops of color. It was a nice shift from what I normally wear.

I have been styling outfits for going back to work and definitely wanted to enjoy mixing patterns and adding in color! After working for Target for almost 7 years, I feel like a free woman now outside of my everyday red and khaki! Insert praise hands emoji!!

If you're like me and typically play it safe with colors, my best advice for styling in the workplace is to jump right in to what makes you feel good! I knew I needed these pants when I saw them! Yes they are bright, but I'll be making boss moves in style! #dontbescared!

I linked everything above but here are the details:

My top is from Shein, which is a great go to if you need cute pieces without spending too much money. My bottoms are from Forever21 (another good place to shop for items)! Both pieces are under $30! That's my kind of deal. I am wearing a size medium in both for a sizing reference.

My shoes are from Steve Madden. I do NOT, I repeat DO NOT like to wear heels. Mostly because I hate it when my feet hurt. I cautiously purchased these after reading several reviews online. I added them to my basket, deleted them, added them again … you know, the psycho things us girls do when shopping online! LOL! But when they arrived, I was pleasantly surprised at how comfy they are. The heel is not too high, only 3.25" - perfect for me! The style is called SHANNA and depending on your size, there are SO many beautiful colors to choose from! I bought gold and black and plan to get a few more. The CARRSON is a step up from these, it's the same shoe, but a higher heel. These will be my next purchase for sure!

Hard to believe it's already February 1st! Did you accomplish all that you set out to accomplish in the first month of the year? I am so ready for this fresh start! Cheers to a productive and prosperous month! Let's go!

As always, thanks for stopping by! Love you guys!
