Hello, DALLAS + One Shoulder Ruffle
Hello, Dallas! Well, I've officially been in my new city (take 2) for 2 days and I have to say ... it's GOOD to be home. We moved to Houston for my job 3 years ago and when a new opportunity presented itself a few months ago, I was eager to get back to the city that I love.
Trying to find a place to live, however, (that meets my husbands criteria as well as mine) has proven to be as stressful as I thought it would be. There aren't many things that we don't see eye to eye on, but when it comes to choosing names for children and picking a residence, it can quickly turn into WWIII in the Jackson household! Ha! I think I found something we can both live with, but I plan to go walk the property again tomorrow to be sure. Fingers crossed still I love it and hubby stays on board!
Designing spaces and buying beautiful decor is something that I thoroughly enjoy, so wherever we end up, I'm excited to make it "home." Several of the pieces that we have in our current home will transition really well into the new place, so I'm excited!
My kiddos are finishing out the school year with dad in Houston, so I'm spending the week at my parents house. Thanks, mom and dad! :) There's nothing like a mini retreat in the home I grew up in.
I first saw this top at Nordstrom by Milly and knew I had to have it, but then as I was scrolling through Shein (my guilty pleasure), I found a dupe for a third of the price! #yesplease! Y'all know I love a deal! It helps keep my shopping habit under control!
The quality is great and the top is really well made.
I've worn it a couple of different ways, with distressed denim shorts when I was out with friends, and today with a pair of high waisted jeans. With hot summer days on the horizon, I have a feeling I'll be in shorts more often than not, but it looks great with either! I linked my entire look above, but you can also head over to my "So Steph" tab and shop all of my looks (and so much more!)
As always, thank you so much for reading! I hope you love this top as much as I do!
XO - Steph
