Life Giving Lace Ups

I've gotten so many compliments on these pants, so naturally, they made it to the blog. If you follow me on Instagram then you know that I was on the fence about ordering them for the longest. I was worried that my slim/curvy figure would just blow out of every opening! But after putting them in my cart over and over for like 3 weeks, I decided, to hell with it, I love them, I'm ordering them, they belong to ME

As you know, we just moved so I don't have everything set up yet ... and I don't have a full length mirror - it's in Houston still - so when I tried them on for the first time, it drove me bananas that I couldn't get a full picture of what they look like. I convinced myself that I looked ridiculous, and put them back in the box to return. I was also on my cycle so I just looked bloated and not cute. It was actually tragic. BUT THEN ... a few days later after getting my hair done and having on a full face of make-up, I was feeling fabulous, so I tried them on again. Clearly I had a change of heart because now they are my favorite jeans that I own. Maybe I just needed to be as sassy as these pants when I tried them on the first time. They literally give me so much life every time I wear them, hence the title of today's post.

Dear TopShop, can you please make more of these?? I promise I'd buy them in every color. LOL!

If you're on the fence about whether or not they'll look good on you, I promise you that you should just try them on to see them in person. I opted to style them with a loose fitting OTS top that I found online at Shein. I think a basic graphic tee would also look great with a pair of slides. My favorites are the kind with the pearls on them. Yes they are a designer dupe, but they are also so fabulous.

I linked everything for you via the affiliate links above, below and throughout the post! I'm catching up on the blog today, my computer has been down and out, but I'm finally back in action! #yas! I literally have no patience for technical issues, I called my husband in a panic and was like "WE NEED A NEW COMPUTER, I CAN'T LIVE LIKE THIS!" but after some troubleshooting, she's back and better than ever! (Thanks, Apple for the support - you da best).

Anywhooo. Thanks so much for stopping by the blog, I've got some fun things planned for July and I can't wait to share it all with you!

XO, Steph
