Black Sheer Midi Dress

Midi dresses are such a great staple piece for when the weather starts to cool off. I've never been a fan of wearing maxi dresses (unless it's something strappy for date night on the beach) so midi has always been my go-to. The great thing about these dresses is that you can pair them with a stylish ankle boot or a great pair of heels - both are a chic ensemble that look great for any occasion.

I found this dress at Nordstrom as I was frantically buying last minute looks for NYFW. The funny thing is, I never wore it while I was in the city, but I decided not to return it because the dress is a classic and can be worn so many different ways.

I've already worn it 3 times to very different events and I was able to style it appropriately for each. While I was at a fashion show, I added a gorgeous faux leather jacket (linked similar below), and the other two times I wore it by itself with fun jewelry. Adding bangles and bracelets with a fun lip color and great hair is always an easy WIN in my book!

I am also linking my sunglasses below. My blogger friend Tiffany from Flaunt and Center wears her Celine sunnies all the time and after seeing them at NYFW every day (we were roomies) I decided I needed a pair! BUT I know that everyone doesn't want to or can't spend a ton on sunglasses so I found a great dupe for under $15! I shared them in my last post and I'm sharing them again! I ordered them to check them out and can vouch for them and say, they are great quality!

You can shop this look directly in this post or via my SHOP page where I link all of my looks via Thank you for stopping by my page! I love you guys!
