NYFW: Day Four
As the days kept passing by, I kept saying, THIS is the BEST day of the trip! But Sunday topped it all off. It was another wild day with events from the moment I woke up, to the second I went to bed, but it was an incredible experience that I keep replaying in my head. #blessed
The day started off at Skylight Clarkson Square to see Parson School of Design students make their debut at NYFW. I love seeing up and coming designers. The best part is checking back in a few years from now to see how far they come. The designs were cutting edge, unique and intentionally "different" than anything I had seen on the runway so far. Some pieces were so elaborate and over the top that it felt like I was at an art show, and I'm not mad about it!
After Parsons, I ran across to the next gallery (thankfully, my next show was also at Skylight) to see Dan Liu. The designs were simple, chic and full of playful patterns. Perfect for Spring.
Brunch w/ Vogue
I had several "pinch me" moments this trip, but brunch with Vogue was the icing on the cake. I'm such a sap, as we were leaving I had to hold back tears. I was so humbled to be invited and to get to share the experience with my best blogger friends. Vogue is a dream and getting to do what I love with people who get it is indescribable. I snapped a few photos with my phone but as I get images from Vogue, I'll share them.

I had to send a friend to this show for me because I wasn't going to make it across town in time. The footage she sent me was beautiful. Tracy never disappoints, but the prints, patterns and overall theme of the presentation was so on point.
She produced such an incredible show. The colors, designs and materials were absolutely breathtaking. After the show, my friend and I both said "WOW!" I literally had goosebumps. Leanne is so talented and I was looking forward to seeing her show. I left feeling inspired and ready to swipe my credit card. I want it all!
After Leanne Marshall I had 3 additional shows that I didn't end up making, but thankfully, I had friends in the city who helped me out and attended for me!
Vivienne Hu, Samantha Leibowitz and Jarel Zhang - I hope to catch you next year!
Free People X Vogue Party
After Leanne Marshall I started to get ready for the Vogue X Free People party. I mean, it's not a bad day when you spend the day with Vogue, not once but TWICE! Is this real life? It was fun to meet the Vogue team, hang out with blogger babes and preview the new collection from Free People.
After the full day of shows and events, the girls and I headed out for burgers in the city. Shake Shack is ALWAYS a good idea!
Day four was one for the books! By far my favorite day in NYC! Thank you so much Vogue for the opportunity!
